Another "found footage" type horror movie, along the lines of APOLLO 18, though not nearly as engaging as that film. Five astronauts are sent to one of the moons of Jupiter to find out if it supports life, as the conditions are right, particularly the presence of water. They send down a remote probe but it's a hundred meters off the designated mark, and so they can't access the water beneath the ice to do the tests. So a female astronaut goes down on the surface, taking a chance about the high exposure of radiation, and gets a reading--and encounters something unexpected. The special effects are great--and realistic, along the lines of 2001 A SPACE ODYSSEY. I felt as if I were watching a live broadcast at times. Overall, recommended, but don't expect anything fast-paced.
