This simply a very weird--and hilarious-- movie. In Japan an office executive is suspected of killing his girlfriend, primarily because his wife mysteriously disappeared three years before. But there's a twist-- he's a six foot tall talking humanoid Koala. And the boss of the food distribution company he works for is an albino rabbit. This all seems entirely normal to all the humans who work in the office. There's even a frog who is a cashier at the grocery store he goes to.
There's a detective who believes the Koala is getting away with murder and tries getting the scoop from his psychiatrist, who of course won't divulge confidential information. And the timid Koala is having these terrible nightmares of killing people.
As strange as the movie starts off it only continues to get stranger. There is killing but not any type of gore effects. The most violent instances, I think, are when he picks up some people and hurls them around into walls or breaks somebody's neck. The ax murders just show blood being splattered. I did find the images of the glowing red eyed Koala creepy, particularly the "stalking" sequences which are like something out of an Asian ghost movie.
After watching EXECUTIVE KOALA you will believe a Koala can talk-- and kill!
