This low-budget zombie movie opens during the American Civil War, with a voice-over of a soldier who witnessed a zombie uprising. The very beginning of the movie has text that explains how these early zombie outbreaks may lead a clue to preventing "the zombie Apocalypse". Anyways, we go to this man's journal, where we hear a guy who sounds like a faux Abraham Lincoln explaining how his wife turned into a creature--and then his son. The zombie-makeup is as basic as it can get-- white makeup. In fact, I have the suspicion that the director/producer had access to a bunch of Civil War re-inactors. You should exit this movie soon as you can.
