A young Chinese woman undergoes a corneal transplant to restore her vision after being blind since she was two. She regains her sight but she also gains the ability to see ghosts. This is because the donor of the corneas had that ability. With the help of her doctor she finds that the woman the corneas came from committed suicide because her warnings of a disaster were ignored by her villagers and many people died. And then, once everything seems resolved and the dead woman's spirit is put to rest, something really horrible happens. The creepiness factor of this movie is way up there with THE SIXTH SENSE, Kubrick's THE SHINING and THE SENTINEL, making it one of the best horror movies of 2002. » Search Database for Eye, The (2002) Seen it?
