John Crichton is an astronaut whose shuttle goes through a black hole and ends up on the other side of the Galaxy, to eventually finds himself living on a biomechanical ship containing some strange-looking aliens (courtesy of The Henson Shop). There's a good chemistry between Crichton and the human-looking female Arin. One of the other aliens is Klingon-like and another one is basically a humanoid planet. I was never a fan of this show when it first aired on the Sci-Fi Channel-and I've avoided re-runs since then, primarily because it seemed like too many other shows at the time. But I must say I was surprised how much I enjoyed this first season on dvd.
