I really have no idea what this movie is about...it's more vague than a David Lynch movie-and without the quirky entertainment value. John Turturro (BARTON FINK) portrays a man who is obsessed with finding the man responsible for his wife's murder. He watches endless hours of surveillance tapes in hopes of finding the man. He is also having waking dreams in which he sees his dead wife, as if she were alive. The investigation-prompted by what is presumably a dream-leads him to a town in Montana, where he and his wife had vacationed. And the killer is indeed there, though it's not who you would expect or why the murder happened to begin with...I think. To say this is an unsatisfying movie is an understatement.
