This continues from the ending of the first movie, with the twin of the motorcycle woman, Biker Queen (Diane Goldner) appearing and discovering survivor, Bartender (Clu Gulager of RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD). She wants to know who is responsible for the death of her sister and he tells her that it was Bozo (Balthazar Getty). She then drags him to the nearest town to find him. He's long gone but the monsters have already arrived and killed off most of the townsfolk. And these are some nasty monsters.
There's an interesting and hilarious assortment of characters, from a used car salesman and his cheating wife, who fervently believes in THE SECRET, to two dwarf Mexican wrestlers and their grandmother. The movie doesn't hold back and no one is safe, not even children and old ladies. In fact, this has one of the most disgusting scenes I've seen in the past ten years, when they decide to find out what makes these monsters "tick" and begin to autopsy a dead one. About every bodily fluid imaginable spews out of this thing. Aggggh. The movie is also damn funny.
Of course, it is entirely open-ended for part 3, which is coming (no pun intending) soon.
