This is also known as The House that Screamed. This was one cool, old Spanish horror flick. It had lots of creepy, atmospheric scenes and a great score that highlighted most of the film. Not a gruesome bloodbath type of movie, but it did have several very brutal throat slitting scenes. One in particular that was very well done, especially in the way the music was used. My biggest complaint was the shower scene in which the schoolgirls all wore gowns in the shower. Come on! What was that about? This movie just had an eerie feel to it all around. It's kind of slow paced (like most Euro-horror), but well worth being patient for. Ends up having a twisted, sick ending. If you're a Spanish or Euro fan, you definitely want to check this older film out soon.
