This is an interesting idea. Fire creatures are periodically expelled from the sun, land on Earth and cause fires as they feed. During recent years the government has discovered what these are but a rogue government agent (Robert Beltran of VOYAGER, NIGHT OF THE COMET) has become all nonsensically religious and thinks they are angels of vengeance. He wants to help them destroy the world. A former fireman (Randolph Mantooth of EMERGENCY ONE!) also knows the truth and tries to impart this information to a younger firefighter (Nicholas Brendan of BUFFY), who has seen this Fire Serpent for the first time.
