A teenager with an attitude works at an old record shop. Her name is Raven and she also rides around on a motorcycle. For some unexplained reason a real (or CGI) raven follows her around. One night she's surrounded by a group of thugs and manages to beat them--and reveals that she has superhuman strength and fangs. She almost bites a guy but stops herself. Instead, she sneaks into the local hospital and steals bags of blood for food. A cop (Andrea Roth) approaches her for help, to find a serial killer, explaining that the authorities know all about vampires and that there are hundreds like her living in the city.
This seems like a pilot for a television series, as it sets up the whole scenario with this "good" vampire helping a cop solve crimes (sort of like another Canadian show, Blood Ties). But the acting here is atrocious, particularly by the actress who portrays Raven.
