It's the early 1800's in England. Inspector John Marlott (Sean Bean of GAME OF THRONES) begins to investigate a series of disturbing crimes which involve stolen corpses and body parts sewn together. His wife and child died years before and he still feels extremely guilty about it. This is because he had syphilis-the baby died and the mother killed herself. Now, he's beginning to have symptoms-a rash on his hand and seeing things and having terrible nightmares. It's a slow-moving series, primarily focusing on the body snatching business at the time, as well as the characterization of the main character. But the last episode, particularly the end, makes up for it in a big way. If you're a Frankenstein fan this is a must see.
