Some call him the Tobanga. Some call him the Tobango. But whatever you call him, he's still a silly tree monster who looks as if he escaped from the set of THE WIZARD OF OZ.
On an island in the South Pacific the chief's son is put to death for the death of his father. It was really the father's best friend, though, the witch doctor, who poisoned him and took over leadership of the tribe. The chief's son swears that he"ll have revenge-and after they plunge a dagger into his heart and bury him in a wood coffin, he comes back as this gnarled tree stump creature with limited mobility.
This is one of those movies that seem as if they were making up the dialogue-and the plot line-as they were going along. And if you haven"t seen this movie before you have to see if once in your life time. Simply describing FROM HELL IT CAME it doesn"t do it justice.
