Tony (Adam Arkin) is a senior at Full Moon High in the 1950's. He accompanies his father (Ed McMahon) on a trip to Romania and is attacked by a werewolf.
When he returns, he begins terrorizing his community, though they are all annoyed more than anything else. One of the side effects of his curse is that he
doesn't age, so when he disappears for 30 years and then returns to his hometown, he poses as his own son. He reaquaints with his best friend, who has
married his girlfriend (Roz Kelly of Happy Days), though she figures out he's really the original Tony.
This is a really weird, extremely silly movie written/directed by Larry Cohen (Q, IT'S ALIVE). At first, it seems like a spoof of I WAS A TEENAGED WEREWOLF,
then goes off to something akin to an AIRPLANE movie. Recommended if only to see the strangest werewolf flick you'll ever see.
