As with DEMON HUNTER, another Stephen J. Cannell produced direct-to-dvd horror movie, THE GARDEN is lacking in the script department. The story concerns a young boy who has these strange dreams about a big, twisted tree, which is supposedly the "Tree of Knowledge" from the bible. He and his father (Brian Wimmer of CHINA BEACH, LATE FOR DINNER) are driving and get in an accident. The boy wakes up to find that they're in a house run by a creepy Lance Henriksen-and that his father has decided that they're going to live there for a while, while he does odd jobs around the ranch. The kid thinks something is up with Henriksen and he's right, as he seems to be Satan. There's also four horses kept in the barn, horses which belong to The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. A spooky looking Sean Young is also on hand. What it's all about is unclear.
