This Italian haunted house film is gory and fun 'til the bitter end. I've always read that cannibal expert Umberto Lenzi directed this gem under the name Humphrey Humbert or some shit. Whatever or whoever did, they deserves some credit and should feel proud. This movie wastes no time in killing off people in gory fashion. If you have a fear of clowns, dolls, or marionettes, this one will not help that phobia one bit. A ghostly little girl and her scary-ass looking doll thing cause all these evil shit. Don't get me wrong, this ain't no groundbreaker, but it does have plenty of bloody fun for the whole family with nearly no plot to get in the way. It does have a creepy synth type soundtrack and some eerie moments that make it memorable. Ghost House is a must for Lenzi buffs and Italian horror fans for sure. It's hard to find now though, but worth tracking down. If you needed another reason to hate clowns, this'll do it.
