Dominic Purcell (Tv's JOHN DOE, BLADE 3) and Clare Kramer (BUFFY THE VAMPRIE SLAYER villain from the 5th season) are a married couple, who along with two friends, attend another friend's funeral. The wife goes home but the other three go back to the cemetary that night, get drunk and end up dancing around some graves. Unfortunately, by doing this they desecrate the graves - and anger the dead - who end up being various killers, buried in the "undesirable" section of the graveyard. One is a pyromiac, one an axe murderess and another a torturer. The get the help of a University professor and his assistant, who document the weird-goings on - but they are not immune to the spirits' wrath.
This is one of the better "EIGHT FILMS TO DIE FOR" series from Lionsgate (the other two being UNREST and THE HAMILTONS). The dead people's "shock faces" are great and extremely creepy, but much of the effect of the movie is blown at the end when there's this giant, computer animated ghost head chasing the lead actor The entire movie was subtle up to this point, so that when it happened I chuckled a few times, which I'm sure was not the intended response. This aside, I do recommend renting this one out.
