In RUDE AWAKENING a real estate agent has repeated dreams where he's having an affair with different versions of the same woman. Just when you think he's awakened it turns out to be a dream. When he think's he's asleep and fantasizing, he smothers his wife with a pillow-only to find out that he's really awake! GROWING PAINS tells the story of a self-involved couple who have adopted a ten-year-old boy a year after their own son had died. The husband is a botanist, trying to cure the world's food problem by creating a plant that contains as much protein as meat-and the wife spends all her time at social gatherings and doing charity work. Which leaves very little time to spend with their new son. He starts being haunted by the dead son, who we find out died when he ate some poison in his father's lab.
