Three gals retreat to an isolated cabin during the winter to let loose and have some fun. Trouble is, one gal's grandfather was recently killed there...while working on a book that might expose a local Satanic cult. Before you can say, 'Boo!' the girls find themselves under attack from a robed dark one. It's a cat and mouse game to see who will survive.Despite the rather simple sounding story, this movie is quite excellent. The three actresses are really good and the dialogue is real and fresh. The characters discuss real issues like religion, belief in God, and other things that tie nicely into the story. The setting is superb, especially when the snow begins. All in all, the movie was well-shot and executed and fans of cat-and-mouse suspense should dig this one. Easily better than Stephen King's remake of THE SHINING, and that says a lot!
