This sequel begins right where the second one ended, with the monster, Victor Crowley (Kane Hodder), shot point-blank in the head. Then, as survivor Marybeth (Danielle Harris) walks away we see him get up--and attacks her. She puts her arm through his mangled head, then he gets chopped in half. There's no way he's coming back from this, right? She walks into the police station with is scalp, as proof of his death. The sheriff (Zach Galligan of THE WAXWORK & GREMLINS movies) doesn't believe her when she recounts her entire story told in the first two movies. But the sheriff's ex-wife (Caroline Williams of TEXAS CHAINSAW 2) is a reporter, who is obsessed with the Victor Crowley legend. She wants to prove that the ghost exists. Marybeth doesn't want to help her at first but ends up telling her her story. The reporter informs her that Victor Crowley's curse is that he's reborn every night, searching for his father. And this is why he keeps on coming back, even when he's dismembered. This movie really brings the whole series together. Highly recommended.
