Another anthology from Paul Talbot and Jeff Miller (FREAKSHOW 1995) that features a wraparound story with Gunnar Hansen (MOSQUITO) as a prison guard and Debbie Rochon (STRAWBERRY ESTATES, TROMEO & JULIET) as a deathrow prisoner, the 'illegitimate daughter of Charles Manson' who reads him tales from a book she is writing. There's an effective tale about a woman haunted by the water bloated corpses of the children she murdered, a woman who wants to change the habits of her wife-beating husband with a magic potion, and a yawner about a motorcycle gang. Although a bit unfocused, this feature has great production values and features one of the best wraparounds I've ever seen in an anthology, so much so that far outshines the three stories!
