The movie begins with a new Hollow Man (Christian Slater) on the loose-and he's trying to get a hold of a drug which will keep him from dying. The army is determined to not let him get it and they'll go almost any means necessary. This is because this Hollow Man had a very specific agenda, something the powers that be want covered up. The doctor who has created this drug (Laura Regan) is being protected by a detective-and it's his job to ultimately fight and defeat this invisible man.
HOLLOW MAN 2 is not nearly as good as the first movie and the smaller budget is evident, as it's primarily a by-the-numbers chase/thriller movie. I did think it appropriate, though, that they cast Christian Slater in the lead, as he's become virtually invisible these past few years.
