This is one hysterical horror movie and I mean that in terms of sheer hysteria. These characters, and this film, is nuts. Nuts is good.
While a group of friends are having a sort of homecoming for their friend Claire, who was in California and tried to kill herself, their party is crashed by a weird guy (Bill Moseley of THE DEVIL'S REJECTS, TEXAS CHAINSAW II) wearing a blue suit and carrying a suitcase. Inside the suitcase are hundreds of razor blades. But he doesn't use them on the partygoers--he uses them on himself as he coerces everyone there to name the one person that they hate the most. Once he gets all the answers he leaves.
Then, the killings begin, as all those people they named are killed in horrible ways. The makeup effects are convincing, particularly the scene where Tiffany Shepis' (NIGHTMARE MAN) foot is sliced down the middle. She's also naked a bit and there's this one scene, when she finds her dead mother, that gets really weird and bloody.
HOME SICK is the most fun I've had watching a splatter movie in a long time. I felt like I was watching a long lost movie from the early 80's.
