This is an interesting 8 episode Marvel series. While the world has been dealing with superhero battles and the emergence of "Inhumans" on AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D, there's been a civilization of Earth's first Inhumans living on the dark side of the moon. They fled there because of persecution by humans. The city, Attilan, is protected within a dome that makes it invisible, and is ruled by Black Bolt (Anson Mount) and Medusa (Serinda Swan). That is, until Black Bolt's human brother Maximus (Iwan Rheon of GAME OF THRONES) manages to cause a revolt and makes them flee to Hawaii, on Earth. On Earth they are also joined by allies, which include Karnak, Gordon, Medusa's sister Crystal and Crystal's massive dog, Lockjaw, which can teleport anywhere (it's how they get from the moon to the Earth). For the most part this is a fish-out-of-water tale and we don't immediately like any of these stuck-up Inhumans. But as they try to find each other and encounter friendly-and not-so-friendly-humans, they begin to become more relatable, particularly Black Bolt, Medusa and Karnak. There's also a scientist there, Dr Declan (Henry Ian Cusick of LOST), who is trying to uncover the specific Inhuman genes that give someone abilities. You see, Maximus doesn't want to be human and wants a power.
The story and situation is a bit different than the original Marvel Comics-but it integrates the characters very well into the present "Marvel TV and Movie Universe". And it's a bit lower key than you'd think it would be. Recommended.
