This historical movie takes place in Medieval times, right after the signing of England's Magna Carta. But the King (Paul Giamatti of SHOOT 'EM UP, LADY IN THE WATER) is having second thoughts and wants to undo this event, primarily by killing everyone who made him sign it to begin with. A group of noblemen hole up in a castle and a Templar Knight (James Purefoy of FRANKENSTEIN, GEORGE & THE DRAGON, ROME) agrees to help them fight. Brian Cox (MANHUNTER, RED), as the Baron, is horribly dismembered, his hands and feet cut off with an axe.
This isn't a horror film, per se, but it has plenty of horrific elements and more dismemberment than in a typical SAW movie.
