Ray Harryhausen's giant octopus flick is a good golden oldie. The creature is cool even though it's missing a few arms, hahahaha! An atomic blast (remember when all monster films used the word atomic instead of nuclear?) is to blame here for waking this big octopus up. The biggest piece of sushi ever goes on to attack San Francisco and the golden gate bridge. There's other subplot shit going on too, but who cares? The monster action is what propels this movie. Octopi are weird and creepy looking. A giant one would be very scary and it is in this film. For those that like oldies, this is a must see. If you like killer sea creature features, then you should see one of the good early ones.
