This thirty minute short (soon to be released as part of an anthology called DARK DESCENT) produced by Ron Bonk (THE VICIOUS SWEET) and directed by Jason Mathew Walsh (star of KINGDOM OF THE VAMPIRES), concerns a crazed woman who has tracked down a horrendous serial killer--or so she thinks. Rather than killing her he opts to take her under his wing and they go about on a considerably bloody killing spree that culminates in an unexpected turn of events. Extremely well-shot and edited, it is slightly overwritten and the weakest part of the production is the casting of non-actors James Edwards and Arianna Albright in the leads, who gropingly try to 'act' these 'killer' parts. However, this short is far superior to the feature expansion of the same story, BLOODLETTING, another in a long line of sub-par videos produced by Ohio's most prolific filmmaker, Junior Bookwalter. Short is available from SALT CITY HOME VIDEO.
