This is a very entertaining movie. Following the tradition of such films as CHILDS PLAY, the spirit/essence of a serial killer is put into the snow--and he's able to freeze, melt, change his form at will. This happens when the prison van transporting him crashes in to a truck transporting an experimental acid that will bond human DNA to inorganic objects. It works. The serial killer returns to the town where he was caught--to take vengeance upon the small town sheriff. About half of the one-liners the killer snowman says are hilarious. There's a scene where he rapes a young woman in a bath tub (his carrot nose conspicuously absent from his face) and then when he's done he says 'I guess Christmas came early this year.'! Sure, the killer snowman looks a little silly at times but think about it...it's a killer snowman for godsakes!
