This movie surprised me. The first half-hour seemed like every other 'camping trip to be killed' slasher movie and the stereotypes and implausibility were beginning to irritate me. Three guys, three women go on a camping trip, where it's a free-for all who sleeps with who (including the obligatory lesbian scene), and danger lurks in the form of an inbred hillbilly prowling about. But when the woman who seems to be the main protagonist is killed the movie takes a turn I didn't expect-and from that point on I wasn't sure what was going on. When you finally realize what is REALLY happening it makes you think back to the beginning of the movie, which then takes on an entirely different perspective. There's also plenty of ax-wielding gore to perk things up.
