Melissa (Nicki Aycox of SUPERNATURAL, JEEPERS CREEPERS 2), her boyfriend Bobby and her sister Kayla are driving to Las Vegas for a vacation. On the way they pick up Kayla's punk boyfriend, Nike (Klye Schmid of the series BLOOD TIES). The first of this movie is very entertaining, particularly the back and forth between polar oppsites Bobby and Nik.
Their car stalls out in the desert and they find an abandoned house where there's a car, with keys, in the barn. They take the car and Melissa leaves a note and her number that they'll return it as soon as they get to the next town and get a rental car. However, this house belongs to Rusty Nail, the truck driver we saw kill a prostitute in the opening scene, so we know this isn't a good thing.
However, the movie quickly turns to predictable territory halfway through and of course the ending there's the truck going over that damn cliff, an explosion--and a tagged on ending where the evil truck driver is somehow still alive and wanting to drive into another sequel.
