This Japanese zombie movie is very much like FROM DUSK TILL DAWN, only with zombies. It starts off with this group robbing a jewelry store and then hiding out in an old abandoned army base. Then the zombies, from a recent experiment, start to awaken. The rotting corpses are led by an intelligent zombie, a woman who turns out to be this scientist's wife he was trying to resurrect. In EVIL DEAD style her hair changes color-to a bad white wig-when she attacks and leaps about. The two robbers who end up surviving are interesting characters, the zombies are decent looking and the movie moves along well, a quick hour and a half.
