This R-Rated animated movie features some characters never utilized before in the movies, from Zatanna to The Demon to John Constantine (Matt Ryan, who was Constantine in the TV series, does the voice). A supernatural being causes humans to do unspeakable murderous acts and Batman tries to get to the bottom of this. Soon, he finds himself in league with these reluctant "heroes" and the eventually figure out who-or what-is responsible. There's also an appearance by The Swamp Thing, which shows him a bit more powerful than either the live action series or the animated cartoon from the 90's. They also bring in "The House of Secrets" from the DC comics mythos and that ties in quite well. I've never read the graphic novel, so I can't compare how faithful this is, but I found it entertaining and different enough from the other DC Animated movies of late. Recommended.
