Kibakichi is a lone Samurai wandering the 17th Century countryside, who seems to be searching for a place to live. He kills some men and then some monsters along the way, until he comes to this town inhabited by some odd people. Actually, they are odd because they're not people at all but monsters disguised in human form. There are women who are really giant spiders and others who looks as if they stepped out of the movie NIGHT BREED. They run gambling games to bring humans in from out of town-let two out of ten win and leave with their earnings, then eat the other eight losers.Through a flashback it's revealed that Kibakichi inadvertently led humans to his werewolf tribe-and everyone was killed except for him. Because of this past failure he's willing to defend this town from the humans who want to destroy it. But can monsters compete with guns?Although he doesn't turn into his werewolf form until the end of the movie, where he's battling humans and the monsters allied with them, it's worth the wait, as I've never seen a werewolf that looks like this. Sure, it's a guy in a suit but it's still pretty cool. As werewolf movies go, KIBAKICHI is an original.
