A helicopter crash lands in the Antarctic and the four passengers, which include a woman reporter, find themselves three thousand feet below sea level in a tropical, dinosaur infested valley. They encounter carnivorous plants, giant monitor lizards, a weird-eyed T-Rex, a plesiosaurus-- and a survivor from a previous expedition. This survivor kidnaps the woman and wants her to be his "Jane", but the three other guys come to her rescue. The Robinson Crusoe wannabee wants the guys to leave, so tells them where they can find his crashed plane, for spare parts for their broken helicopter. Things don't work out exactly how he wants, though.
The acting and script is corny, indicative to 1950's Sci-Fi movies but the special effects are decent, particularly those matte-paintings of the prehistoric valley.
