It's a post-apocalyptic world in which the cyborgs have revolted and destroyed most of humanity. There are soldiers, though, who were created to defeat them, soldiers who are part cyborg as well. One of these sentinels (Don 'the Dragon' Wilson) rescues a young woman (Katee Sackoff), who is almost gunned down. There is no chemistry at all between these actors so their scenes don't work. The soldier also has this irritating A/I computer/weapon which sounds like an Onstar Operator. This movie is like an Albert Pyun movie gone really bad and Sackoff is vastly underutilized here. I suspect the producers wanted her in the movie because of the cylon-like cyborgs. Also, Don Wilson is getting a bit up there in years, not to mention his bad acting cannot carry the movie whatsoever. THE LAST SENTINEL should be the last movie you ever see.
