I've only caught three or four episodes of this new Saturday morning animated series on the CW and I like what I've seen so far. I believe it's done by the same guys who've done JUSTICE LEAGUE, as the style is similar and has some of the same writers, such as Matt Wayne (who I knew in college, twenty + years ago!).
The premise is that just before a young Clark Kent goes off to Metropolis (and presumably becomes Superman), he's recruited by a group of heroes from the 30th Century, THE LEGION OF SUPERHEROES, to help them out in their time-period. In the 30th Century Superman is a legend and there's even a museum devoted to him and his exploits.
The team consists of Lightning Lad, Bouncing Boy, Brainiac 5, Saturn Girl, Phantom Girl and Timberwolf. The stories have the feel of the early LEGION OF SUPERHEROES comics although here Clark Kent's persona is called SUPERMAN rather than SUPERBOY.
