This is an amusing Disney movie, about a little kid who keeps on having dreams involving the full moon, a red jewel, a comet and a gathering of vampires. When he befriends a young vampire he finds out that the vampires are searching for this lost jewel, which, when used when the comet passes overhead will end the vampires of their undead curse. The thing is, they have to find out where this jewel is. There's also a vampire hunter who is determined to track and kill them all. The vampire imagery is great and it was a stroke of genius casting Richard Grant (WARLOCK) and Alice Krige (SLEEPWALKERS, GHOST STORY) as the vampire parents. And this is the first time I've ever seen vampire cows! They're creepy!
