This is pretty much a British remake of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. Here, a guy travelling to his country house on his motorcycle gets in a small accident with a woman driver-and has to remain in that town until the cycle is repaired. But when they become suspects in the murder of a local (who was really killed by a zombie) they're held by police-and by a police sergeant who doesn't like his hippie appearance. It turns out that a nearby experiment-using sonic radiation to get rid of insects-is causing the dead to reanimate. The motorcycle guy and the woman try to tell everyone this but no one believes them.There's a few scenes mimicking NOTLD-car parked in the graveyard when a lone zombie comes and tries reaching a woman through the car window-and most notably at the end, when the hero is shot and killed by the authorities. Nonetheless, a good zombie flick.
