This is basically a lame remake of ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK. The President's daughter (Maggie Grace of LOST, FOG remake) gets trapped amongst violent prisoners on a space station and a criminal (Guy Pearce) with one-liners is sent in to rescue her from the bad guys. Lots of people die in the process. Sub-par and needless CGI effects, from a one-wheeled motorcycle chase to a shoot-out in one-manned space vehicles outside the prison. LOCKOUT feels too much like too many other movies.
