Holy shit. LUCKY is one of those movies that starts off fairly innocuous but gets weirder and nastier as you watch it, containing everything from a talking dog to torture to necrophilia. Fun for the whole family-if you're the Manson family!Millard Mudd is a down and out cartoon writer drowning in beer and despair. The movie starts with a long POV shot walking into his run-down house littered in garbage and there's a voiceover telling of his dilemma-he can't write. But after he runs over a small dog while drunk driving his luck changes. He takes the dog home. It soon starts talking to him telepathically and supplies him with the ideas for scripts. During this time Millard meets a woman named Misty and they start dating. Then, after he tells her that his dog talks to him she disappears. Months go by and no contact with her. When he finds the remains of her body half buried in his backyard he realizes that Lucky had killed her. That's where all his new creative energy is coming from-all the people Lucky has killed. The dog convinces him that he should be doing the killing. A soon as he does his writing improves even more and his career his back on track. Millard gets the dead people's energy, has sex with their lifeless bodies and the dog eats the leftovers. It's a good working relationship. As I said, LUCKY is a grim, nasty and often hilarious movie perfect for a midnight viewing. From mtivideo.com.
