Motorman Dan (David C. Hayes) is a collector of serial-killer memorabilia. In fact, he's so obsessed with this he decides to go and create a serial killer of his own. He kidnaps a guy (Jose Rosete) whose car breaks down, drugs him, then starts drilling into him, attaching these metal weapons. Then, once he's ready, he lures people to his garage and watches everything unfold via cameras he has set up.
It's a weird movie and much of its success has to do with Hayes' performance as the twitchy lead, who is sort of like Leatherface if he were a couch potato. MACHINED is like HOUR OF THE WOLF, only with a person instead of a lion (and a zero-budget).
