The third and final MATRIX movie brings everything to a satisfying conclusion. Neo is stuck in between reality and the Matrix, in a sort of limbo, and must be rescued by Trinity and Morpheus, who get the help of the frenchman. In the meantime, the machines are digging their way down to the human city of Zion-and in less than twenty-hours will breach the wall. This whole battle with the humans against the machines is pretty amazing, the equivalent of the highway scene in MATRIX RELOADED. Simply jaw dropping. This movie is much darker than the previous two and some of the pivotal characters don't survive. What is finally revealed about the nature of the Matrix and the machines makes sense and to be honest I kind of expected it. It works.
