My high hopes for finally seeing a good, at least decent, giant killer shark movie with megs in it were dashed upon the rocks of low budget, digital FX movie making with this crap. The blame can't be totally placed on FX though, as this thing's worst problem is the boredom reeking from it. I think it took like 40 minutes to even see a shark honestly. That's not good, not good at all. The story was okay, even plausible, but the shitty acting, lack of action, and amazingly dumb looking megalodon add up to a waste of time. The worst part of all is that the filmmakers left things wide open for a sequel! If that happens, please make it 100 % better than this. I'm all for deep-sea terror films, especially where sharks, in particular megalodons, are involved; however, this film should be bottled for sleep disorders. It's that boring. Maybe I'm being a little too hard on this movie because I was hoping for way too much, but I honestly do feel Megalodon delivers way too little.
