A cartoonist, Stu Miley (Brendan Fraser) is put in a coma after a car accident and ends up in a strange, cartoonish world where he meets his creation, Monkey Bone (voice of John, BARTON FINK, Turturro). In fact, the primate manages to inhabit Stu's body and does a lot of crazy things. Girlfriend, Julie (Bridget Fonda) tries to figure out what is going on and Chris Katan portrays a zombie animated by Stu's spirit.
