Scott Bakula is the newly appointed head of Netforce, a government agency that patrols crime on the internet, after his boss (Kris Christopherson) is killed in an explosion. NETFORCE thinks that they are after a criminal group.But it turns out that their former leader staged his own death in order to break into the White House and try to destroy the internet, which he views as beyond repair.There's also a subplot with Bakula's relationship with his second in command (Joanna Going of DARK SHADOWS.The movie has all the elements of your basic crime/action movie with some sci-fi touches. When they are firing their guns they can see their aim via these goggles they wear, so they won't be in the line of fire.
