This Jim Carey flick is a good movie, much more of a mystery than it is a horror movie. He portrays a a dog catcher whose wife buys him a strange book called THE NUMBER 23 at a used bookstore. He reads it and starts to believe that it's about him. When the scenes in the book are told, he's cast as the lead guy and his wife (Virginia Madsen) is cast as the dark haired woman. But is the book really about him and his life? It all comes together in a surprising, ANGEL-heart type way.
Recommended.
