A radio announcement warns of a full nuclear exchange and one man and his friends make it into a nearby nuclear fallout shelter just in time. In the tradition of those old TWILIGHT ZONE episodes the characters wonder how they will survive, when it will be safe to go outside and if a war really did happen. Of course, they immediately start getting on each other's nerves and added to the complication is that there is only one woman amongst them. Although the acting ranges from decent to mediocre the movie's second half is stronger than the film's introduction and by the time the film ends you are blown away by the unexpected conclusion.
