In this great seventies horror flick, a child of the devil named Damien is born... and he is born the antichrist. This evil little bastard is bringing hell to earth and death to many around him. His step father's faith and will are tested as he sets out to try to understand what is happening and how to stop it. As the gruesome deaths beging to unfold around him, it seems as though nothing or noone can stop it... not even those of a religious persuasion. The casting for this film were great... especially the kid that plays Damien. I have been saying it for years, and I will say it again... children are pure evil. The effects and deaths were done well in this flick and the acting was top notch. The filmmaking was also well done... giving this one a creepy, dread filled atmosphere. The seventies were a great time for horror... and The Omen is one of the best examples. A must see for all horror fans.
