Robin Williams gives an extremely creepy/sympathetic performance in this tale about a lonely photo store guy who has emotionally latched on to one of his customers and her family. In his sparsely decorated apartment one of the walls is entirely filled with copies of photos they had brought in to be developed. Nine years of photos. He imagines that he's part of their family, which he idealizes as being 'the perfect family'. When he discovers that the husband has been cheating on his wife he flips out and goes after him and his mistress. Throughout the entire movie you're really not sure if he'll do anything violent-and this really propels the movie.
