It's one hundred years in the future. An inexperienced captain, Steward Lipinski, is given command of a spaceship, with an equally unqualified crew, and get lost in another universe. Among them is his sister, Karen, who feels she should be in command, a test-tube produced man named Kent, a drunk, and a moody AI named Natasha (who seems sort of a spoof of the computer from the show ANDROMEDA), among others. There's also a robot uploaded with human intelligence. There's mostly conflict between the crew, though they do encounter some aliens. The most entertaining episode is when two of the crew members, a man and woman, are investigating a planet where time moves much more slower-so they are basically down there for a year. They end up hooking up-and she eventually eats his arm!
The eight episodes of this Yahoo original comedy/sci-fi series is entertaining, though a bit uneven. It reminds me the most of the 70's show QUARK crossed with RED DWARF.
