Soon after there are big solar flares from the sun, a physicist, Christian King, receives some strange photos from the satellite that is monitoring the activity. It's a bunch of photos, which show a disaster, and one of them shows a cell phone that has the date and time--which is ten hours in the future. He contacts the police and asks for "someone with imagination" and they send him Detective Rebecca Flint. In the first episode they don't prevent the disaster but they come very close. The second time it happens there's a photo of Flint's partner, dead, though the government wants to keep this information from her. They end up saving both of the people who are dead in the photos, which means this information may be coming from an alternate earth where things happened differently. In the fourth episode, they are shown pictures that are from two different incidents that result in death--one of a woman who will burn to death, the other of a man who will fall from working on the side of a tall building. They only save one of them.
In the fifth and final episode all of the clues point that something is going to happen specifically to this group of cops and that it also involves a mass shooting at a school. There's a photo of Flint holding a machine gun so she thinks she's somehow responsible. It ends on a cliffhanger, with Christian shot and bleeding and a vocal message, rather than photos, being transmitted by the satellite. The voice sounds very much like Detective Flint's. It's too bad there was never a series 2 as I would have liked to have found out the source and reason for these transmissions from the future.
